The Adlerweg is a trek either side of Innsbruck in the Austrian Tyrol. New in our programme for 2016, the intention is to show rural and mountain life in Austria. Pete took care of our 2016 recce, covering the whole route from St. Johann-in-Tyrol to St. Anton in June.

Near the Bayreuther Hutte, the view North.

Looking North from the Lamsenjochhutte.

A meadow below Stallenalm, during the stage to Schwaz.

Sheep North of the Solsteinhaus, one of 5 huts on our normal route.

The Eppzirler Scharte.

Ehrwald from the cable car, an optional excursion! The cable car goes from Ehrwald to the summit buildings of the Zugspitze, the highest point in Germany.

Blindsee and the Zugspitze. The Zugspitze is a recurring feature of the Adlerweg as the route passes along its Southern flank.

Krommsattel from the Hinterbergjoch, two cols on route to the Anhalter hut.

Holzgau's suspension bridge. This is a new feature in this Lechtal village, the penultimate day of the trek.

Please join us to trek the Adlerweg. Please ask us for more details any time.
