Please ask about our 2012 season which starts on 1 April. Thank you.

Come to the Yorkshire Dales for a long walking weekend. Our route tours the famous Three Peaks of Yorkshire in a 4-day circuit, with options each day to climb the peaks or explore the valleys.

This is a landscape of subtle beauty. The peaks are less pronounced than those of the Lake District, but no less charming. The real pleasures of this corner of Yorkshire are to be had in covering the open spaces, walking down neat walled lanes and crossing field paths on springy turf. Visit some of the area's waterfalls and notorious cave entrances. As well as the hills, enjoy the sense of moving through the landscape using unusual routes into the villages. Once there, settle in for a pleasant evening with a country pub on hand.

Your routecards give directions for each of the four stages. On each of your first three days, the valley route forms the basis of your stage but an optional ascent can be made of one of the Three Peaks. Start with Pen-y-ghent, then Whernside and finally Ingleborough. The fourth stage then finishes your trip in style with a magnificent cross-country walk over the flanks of Ingleborough.

Your accommodation is a varied mix of guesthouses and inns in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, Ribblehead, Ingleton, Clapham and Settle. We pick friendly and handy establishments and we aim to give a flavour of local life.
