Latest news January 2012
Please ask about our 2012 season which starts on 1 April. Thank you.
Whether you are a regular visitor or new to the Lakes, let us show you the best of this most captivating of English national parks.
The beauty of this trip is its flexibility; we plan each itinerary so that you'll get the most from your visit. The schedule we suggest here is just one of many possible. You might like to see the wilder spots or spend more time in the villages.
As a first suggestion, we book you excellent accommodation in the two main centres Ambleside and Keswick - to be in the heart of these active Lakeland towns is a real treat - and add some spice with a night off the beaten track and a walk to a remote hostel.
This being a self-guided holiday, you're free to complete the walks as you choose: we arrange everything for you, including booking accommodation and providing you with routecards for the walking, and then it's up to you to carry out the walks yourself.
